A “Smart Solar House” designed by students at La Sapienza University of Rome.
In this project, a “Smart Solar House” designed by students at La Sapienza University of Rome, i-Mesh was used as a performance material in several applications: a retractable awning, a retractable courtyard sunshade, and a custom-made soft partition inspired by Middle Eastern aesthetics.
We work closely with the research departments of several universities to test, analyze, and push the performance of i-Mesh beyond our current capabilities, interweaving technologies and expertise from different disciplines.
