Lightmorphing: light and space on display at the inaugural Korean solo exhibition of the Italian firm Migliore+Servetto, hosted at Onground Gallery in Seoul.
Supported by i-Mesh, the Italian Embassy of South Korea, the Italian Cultural Institute in Seoul, and Noroo.
"Lightmorphing" is a concept the studio has been developing over several years, giving life to site-specific, dynamic installations that interact with both natural and artificial light. Through this interaction, they shape, merge, and amplify within the space in between. "The exhibition will focus on the richness and power of the relationship between space, lighting, and structures, viewed in their dynamic and evolving dimensions," explain Ico Migliore and Mara Servetto, co-founders of the studio.
Visitors can explore this concept from various perspectives. Progressing through the gallery reveals three main sections: one dedicated to original drawings by Ico Migliore, another showcasing site-specific installations using i-Mesh materials, and a third hosting a video installation alongside special artworks.
